TYD needs your money!

I have been happily supplying the funds to maintain TYD's pages, ventrilo servers, bandwidth needs, and various account services like WWS. However, these costs are substantial, and I am seeking a community effort to support the site.

To date, our yearly costs are:
- $220 for Vbulletin licensing. (We are NOT switching to invision or phpbb3!)
- $60 for Hosting
- $45 for the WWS page.
- $300 for Ventrilo Hosting. ($25 a month)

I always welcome valid suggestions to reduce the financial weight of hosting. However, right now, the services we have, though not the cheapest, are some of the more reliable.

I have included a paypal Donate button in our Navigation Bar. This donation goes to tyd@yawningdogs.com, and the donations will go directly to the yearly costs.

I have a goal to raise $450 for the year. Please help by donating to the cause!

I will also create a donor's page to thank those who donated to help fund TYD's upkeep.

Mmm, not sure if its just my locked-down browser, but I had an error trying to use the donate button that told me to "retry" (no matter how many times I tried). I sent it manually...

use my server jon. I think I can run windows on VMware and use a cracked version of ventrilo that allows more than 8 people. I can host the website for free. so that only leaves you to pay for WWS and Vbulletin fee.

Yeah, might just be my security stuff (restricted cookies, adblocks and paypal keyfob)...it threw me to the PayPal auth page, but after I auth'd it would just say "sorry, press back and retry from your company's submission page".

There's been some Mumblings about a better and free alternative to Vent. I haven't actually used it yet so I can't say anything about it.

Mumble sucks, actually. Tried using it extensively for an Eve Corp as an alternative. Went unstable pretty quickly, and hogged server bandwidth.

One of the first guilds to kill Arthas swears by it. Like I said, I haven't used it but gonna try it out soon

In my viewpoint, this UGG Classic Mini 5854 is the best tasteful mean designer fake boots. Some boots can forever be informed that you must attract by its classic and elegant draft.

So they made a policy that every 100th person who paid for a candy bar got harassed about it.
