I was coming here to talk about actual e3 stuff. Not what system is better sheesh. If i wanted to do that i'd go to my local gamestop argue with an employee and buy a new game in the process. Tales of vesperia comes out tues btw. |

Tales of vesperia sold more 360s in Japan than the 360's opening day.
One week later, 360 sales were back in the shitter. Found it kinda funny. Shows where the Japanese gamer mindset is at.

the japanese market place has always traditionally been more into the heavy story based RPGS. That really isnt news. Blue dragon did the same thing IIRC.
The japanese launch of the console was SAD..... there were 6 games, with Ridge Racer being really the only one really geared towards the japanese market.

I agree with Scott. You kinda have to look at it from a broad spectrum and the japanese launch of the 360 was not as well received.
Im looking forward to Tales of Vesperia, once my Xbox comes back as a component is malfunctioning in it. Tales should be good just for the fact that it is going to have horrible voice acting. Thats just something I like. If you really want to be entertained by bad voice acting, I recommend the original "Brave Fencer Musashi" for the Playstation1.

You mean I'll finally be able to buy a game that will make my 360 elite worth more to me than a DVD player?

Heh, the Wii is a toy at a toy's price? rofl.
Until recently ALL consoles were at that price point. It was part of why the "new" ones which are not much more then PC's in a REALLY small case are so expensive. "Console" itself is losing definition with these new machines. What defines a "console" to you? The way its heading, it will all just become PC's with HTPC hardware types for video games unless there are more Wii-type machines that actually succeed. I love the Wii, and there are plenty of "console" games for it - zelda, the every-continuing mario line, and more. It's not all Wii Sports... I'm looking forward to trying Radiant Sun, and see what Monolith turns out since they are majority-share owned by Nintendo now. And besides, it helps with the ladies: of course this may occur:

That snowboarding chick would have been a lot hotter if she didn't suck so much at the game.
